Entrepreneurial Journey

The idea of Guardian Safety Nets was quite simple, I caught wind of a need for a product and found that there was no solution/good solution to that need. Luckily, I had connections to designers and engineers that helped me bring this product to life, which took about a year and a half after I decided to fully pursue this project mid 2022. I knew that there was going to be a demand for this product initially, but not in the way it actually unfolded. When introducing a new start-up to the world you want to find revenue streams that will allow you to scale. I thought online sales were going to take off and that was my ticket out, but I found that our unique design and manufacturing processes opened up avenues to solve major cargo securement issues for major companies. This caused my team and I to go back to the drawing board. We decided taking on a massive project for one company will allow us to grow faster than our previous approach, which was online sales. Now as this project is coming to a close, Guardian has found itself in a great position that I don't believe would have been attainable this quickly if we stuck with our initial plan.
